On Sunday, Sept. 21, the Good Shepherd Catholic Church community came out to celebrate Mass and to honor their loyal and dedicated pastor of almost four decades, the Rev. John L. Kelly. Suffice to say, there were many mixed emotions. While we all wanted to wish the Father Kelly well in his retirement, those of us who have been longtime and faithful members of Good Shepherd have become deeply troubled by the events of the last few months that lead up to this day.
