The Redistricting Committee for county public schools in the Mountain Road corridor will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Marley Elementary School, 715 Cooper Road.

The committee is made up of school system employees and citizens, including Marley Elementary PTA President Joe Offer and Vice President Tracy Gearhart.

The committee is to determine whether redistricting is necessary and, if so, how to achieve it in the best interests of all children and families affected.

The committee will make a recommendation to county schools Superintendent Kevin Maxwell.
