Shirley Carr

Shirley Lee Carr, 84, a 51-year resident of Glen Burnie and retired Anne Arundel County employee, died of natural causes Oct. 2 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Mr. Carr was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Elkins, W.Va.

He retired from the county as a waste water plant operator and also worked for the Sealtest Bakery for 20 years and part-time for Associated Cab for 33 years.

Mr. Carr enjoyed gardening, carpentry, performing repairs, NASCAR and the Orioles. He especially loved spending time and the holidays with his family.
