| | West County: Saddle up for local Western screening

The Jessup Community Hall, 2920 Jessup Road, will host a screening at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 of "One-Eyed Horse," the new Western written and directed by local filmmaker Wayne Shipley. All proceeds will benefit the Jessup Improvement Association's project to renovate the community hall. "One-Eyed Horse" is set in 1887 in Hadley, Mo. The tale of obsession and revenge was filmed in various locations of Jessup over a cumulative 50-day shooting schedule. It has an adult theme and is not recommended for children under age 13.
