Senior Dino Stevens bulldozed his way to nearly 200 yards and two touchdowns to lead North County to a 13-0 shutout victory over Southern.

The Knights' defense proved impenetrable, recording four takeaways on two fumble recoveries and two interceptions, holding Southern tailback Davonte Burke to just 71 yards rushing while allowing only 42 passing yards.

"It was kind of an ugly win," Knights coach Gary Liddick said. "We dropped many touchdown passes tonight. Overall, though, we're in a better place now than we were for the last six years."
