The Pasadena Sportsfishing Group invites children ages 5 to 13 to its last kids' fishing derby of the year from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 20 at Fort Smallwood Park, 9500 Fort Smallwood Road.

The entry fee is $3 in advance or $5 for walk-ins.

Fish Bones Tackle is providing all the bait, but each child must have their own fishing rod and reel.

First, second and third-place prizes will be awarded in two age groups: ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 13. Winning prizes will be awarded for largest fish caught measured from tip of nose to tip of tail.
