Pasadena girl lives on through her love of PJs

Just 9 years old, Kamryn Lambert was a miniature fashion diva known among her family and friends for her love of funky pajamas.

The Pasadena girl, who died a year ago today after a three-year battle with leukemia, had at least 30 unique pairs, her grandmother recalled.

"She was a real princess sometimes," Debbie Katzenberger said. "When she was staying in the hospital, it would always make her feel better to get a new pair of pajamas. It made her so excited."

Now, Kamryn's flair for fashionable nightwear lives on, thanks to Kami's Jammies.
