Sewage spills I attended the County Council meeting on Aug. 4, with all of the red shirts. I spoke before the council and questioned why nothing was being done about the raw sewage that is constantly being spilled into our waterways by Anne Arundel County Sewage pumping stations. I went to the archives of the Maryland Gazette newspaper and found articles stating that nearly 8 million gallons of sewage went into the county's waterways in the last three years. Those 8 million gallons of sewage has done more damage to the bay than 10,000 decks or swimming pools ever could. If every county is doing the same thing, we... This story has expired!
