Sewage spills

I attended the County Council meeting on Aug. 4, with all of the red shirts. I spoke before the council and questioned why nothing was being done about the raw sewage that is constantly being spilled into our waterways by Anne Arundel County Sewage pumping stations.

I went to the archives of the Maryland Gazette newspaper and found articles stating that nearly 8 million gallons of sewage went into the county's waterways in the last three years.

Those 8 million gallons of sewage has done more damage to the bay than 10,000 decks or swimming pools ever could.
