As high school football practices officially get underway today, one of Arundel High School's player's shoulder pads may appear to be a little lighter.

Alec Lemon, a rising senior wide receiver, made his college decision late Thursday night, giving a verbal commitment to play at Syracuse University.

"It feels great right now," Lemon said. "It just shows how much work I've done over the summer and the past few years."
