Everyone is welcome to attend the "Fun Day" that will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Grace of God Fellowship Christian Center, 8302 Elvaton Road.
The family event will feature hot dogs, cotton candy and sno-balls. Activities will include games, prizes, a water slide and a dunk tank.

Tours of historic inn
The historic Rising Sun Inn, 1090 Generals Highway, will be open for tours from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The building was placed on the National Register of Historic places in 1985. Currently, the inn is the chapter house for the Ann Arundel Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
In addition to seeing the historic structure, visitors will have an opportunity to view various antiques and artifacts including a small collection of money printed in Annapolis during the 18th century.
There is a $5 admission donation. The entire fee is used for the upkeep of the building.

Bird hike
Kinder Farm Park will hold a beginner's bird hike at 8 a.m. Sunday.
The program is open to children and adults. Parents or guardians must accompany children.
Persons interested in learning birding as a hobby are invited to participate. Participants should wear clothing and shoes for hiking and take field guides and binoculars.
The park is located at 1001 Kinder Farm Park Road.

End-of-summer luau
Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., will host an end-of-summer luau from 6 to 11 p.m. Aug. 23.
The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Tickets are $25. Proceeds will benefit the retirement fund for the archdiocesan priests.
