60th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Imwold of Linthicum Heights celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner held in their honor in Hanover, Pa., which was attended by their daughters and their families.

The Imwolds also were presented with an engraved tray honoring their anniversary during a recent worship service at their church, St. John Lutheran Church in Linthicum.

The former Mary Elizabeth Poe and Henry Joseph Imwold were married on June 12, 1948, at St. John Lutheran Church in Brooklyn.

Mr. Imwold is retired from the James Walker Co., where he worked in the sale of industrial cables and equipment. He was honored in March at the Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights' annual prayer breakfast as the person with the most senior membership at St. John Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Imwold is a homemaker and a former bank teller.

His hobbies include boating, gardening, gold panning and metal detecting. He still has a garden and grows asparagus, raspberries and tomatoes.

She makes quilts for her church sewing group which are sent overseas to aid disaster victims. She enjoys cooking as well as cross-stitching pictures for her family.

She is a member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and the altar guild at St. John Lutheran Church.

Together, they enjoy spending time with family and traveling.

The couple has three daughters, Carol Dyas, Barbara Rose and Susan Hrybyk; and seven grandchildren.
