OLDE MILL-MILLERSVILLE: Son World Adventure Park next week

Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8249 Jumpers Hole Road, invites area children to participate in its annual vacation Bible school beginning next week.
The five-day program will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Aug. 1. Classes are open to children ages 3 through seventh grade. The cost is $10 per child or $25 per family with three or more children.

The theme is Son World Adventure Park. Daily activities will include games, crafts, music and snacks. There will be an interactive lesson with a different biblical character personified each day sharing their experiences with Jesus Christ.

Crab feast

Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., will hold its annual crab feast in its parish hall from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

In addition to crabs, the menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, corn, salads, desserts, beer and soda. The cost is $24 for children ages 6 to 12 and $38 for adults and youth ages 13 and older.

Sunday bingo

The Glen Burnie Moose Family Center 1456, 1911 Crain Highway, will host a Sunday bingo at 1 p.m. Aug. 3.

The doors will open at 11:30 a.m. There will be a guaranteed jackpot of $400.

Family Fun Day

Grace of God Fellowship Christian Center, 8302 Elvaton Road, will hold its Family Fun Day program from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 9.

There will be activities for the entire family including a water slide, dunk tank and additional games and prizes. There also will be hot dogs, cotton candy and sno-balls.
