Old Mille- MillersvilleChurch to host week-long old fashioned revival meeting

The community is invited to an old fashioned camp meeting revival sponsored by the Apostolic House of Prayer Church, 413 Headquarters Drive, Suite 3, beginning at 8 a.m. Monday to July 27.
The morning activities will start with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by a vacation Bible school class presented by elder George White and a workshop featuring various speakers at 9 a.m.

The evening programs will include workshops, music and guest speakers beginning at 6:45 p.m.

The following is a schedule of events during the seven-day revival.

Monday's morning program will begin with a workshop presented by Magnolia Butler, minister of music director. The workshop is called "What Does It Take to Be an Anointed Musician, Singer, Choir Member and Dancer."

The evening services will include praise and worship with Mrs. Butler followed by a workshop, "What Does It Take to Be Anointed," presented by the Rev. Willie Mason of Second Baptist Church of Annapolis.

Tuesday's morning program will feature minister Constance Holland presenting a message called "Lord, My Flesh Is Killing Me."

The evening services will include praise and worship with evangelist Denise Easton followed by a workshop presented by the Rev. Philip Spence of Park Hall True Holiness Church.

Wednesday's morning program will include a workshop on marriage presented by Margaret Lewis and Melissa McCraney. The workshop is open to individuals who are single or married.

The evening services will include praise and worship with Melissa McCraney followed by a workshop presented by the Rev. Luther Moore of Community Church of Christ of Baltimore.

Thursday's morning program will include a workshop called "What Does It Take to Be a Good Disciple, Follower, Of Jesus Christ During These Perilous Times," presented by minister Walter Rider and missionary Wynona Rider.

The evening services will include praise and worship with Margaret Lewis followed by a workshop presented by the Rev. Jacob Loving of One Accord Church of Glen Burnie.

Friday's morning program will include a workshop presented by evangelist Denise Easton on "The Pros and Cons of Evangelism."

The evening services will include praise and worship with missionary Wynona Rider followed by a workshop presented by the Rev. Morlon Fitzgerald of Burning Light Way of the Cross Church of Baltimore.

Saturday's morning program will include the program "Taking Back The Families and Our Children," presented by elder Ernest Downs.

The evening services will include praise and worship with Mr. Downs followed by a workshop presented by elder James Dorsey of Miracle Temple Church of Christ of Lothian.

The revival will conclude at the 11 a.m. worship service held at the Apostolic House of Prayer Church with a messages presented by Bishop Kenneth Butler.

Disc golf

A two-round disc golf fundraiser will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday at Kinder Farm Park. The rain date is July 26.

Each round will last three hours. Prizes will be awarded to the best total score in both professional and amateur divisions. The cost is $10 and includes gate fee. The proceeds will benefit the Friends of Kinder Farm Park.

Players must take their own discs. For after-sunset play, all discs must be brightly lit with a glow disc, glow stick or LED lights.

Advanced registration is required.

The park is located at 1001 Kinder Farm Park.
