Members of the congregation are welcome to take family members and friends.

Back-to-school kits
The Christian Women's Fellowship of Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church is arranging for each student at Belle Grove Elementary School to have a back-to-school supply kit next month when the school year begins.
The group will collect supplies this month and next. The following items are needed for each kit:
two No. 2 pencils
two sticks of glue
one yellow highlighter
one pair of blunt scissors
one small hand sanitizer
one pack of tissues, purse size; larger boxes of tissues are also needed for the classroom.
The group asks that the items be put into a quart size clear bag and placed in the collection containers in the narthex and outside the fellowship hall of the church at 200 School Lane.
For more information, call the church at 410-859-0990.
Rides to church
Friendship Church of the Brethren, 217 Mansion Road, continues to offer its "Need a Ride, Give a Ride" program.
Anyone who is not attending services because they lack transportation can sign up for the program.
For information on how to sign-up or to volunteer as a driver, call Jane Seleski at 410-800-5474.
The church will resume its Sunday school classes at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 7 in the fellowship hall.
Electronics camp
The Historical Electronics Museum, 1745 W. Nursery Road, will offer its annual Pioneer Camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 13 and 14, the museum announced.
The camp is for children ages 8 to 11. They will learn the science and history behind electronic communications and radar and how the communications affect everyday life.
The fee is $20, payable only by cash or check. The registration fee is due no later than Friday.
Participants in the camp must take their own lunch.
Museum officials say space is limited, so children interested in participating are urged to register now. They may sign-up by contacting the museum staff at 410-765-9617 or via e-mail at pioneercamp.hem@ gmail.com.
