Despite falling to Queen Anne's, 10-7, Severna Park Post 175 got sharp hitting from Tommy McCarthy, who drove in three runs, and Leighton Bloh, who had three hits and scored twice.
Pasadena Saints Post 277 defeated Mayo Post 226, 19-4. Steve Smoot earned the win on the mound, and the Saints used a balanced offensive attack paced by Brian Miller, Angelo Archie and Ryan Smith. Miller went 3-for-3, Archie connected for a pair of doubles and Smith sealed the victory with a pinch-hit 3-run home run in the sixth inning.

Mayo Post 226 captured both games of a doubleheader against Severna Park Post 175, winning 8-1 and 9-4.
All three county teams will be competing in the upcoming 4th of July tournament in Bowie. Other American Legion teams from Bowie and Calvert will be participating in the tournament as well.
