Do or Die Productions turns murder into an art form during its production of the "Art of Murder," an interactive murder mystery.
The show will run in the Studio 194 Theater in the Chesapeake Arts Center at 194 Hammonds Lane on July 11 and 12. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m. each night. Tickets are $14 for arts center members, $16 for nonmembers.
Participants can get their creative juices flowing during the "Plugging Into a Creative Outlet" class at the arts center. The class will meet from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on July 15, 22 and 29.
The registration fee is $60 for arts center members and $75 for nonmembers.

Seniors' picnic
The Brooklyn Park Senior Center will hold its annual summer picnic at Kurtz's Beach, 2070 Kurtz Ave. in Pasadena, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 14.
The $13 tickets must be purchased in advance at the center at 202 Hammonds Lane. The menu for the country picnic includes barbecue beef, chicken legs, hot dogs, potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans, watermelon, rolls, cake, coffee, tea and soft drinks.

American Legion Post 187, 1527 Cherry St., hosts bingo games every Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the post's hall. The bingo night costs 25 cents per game and are open to the general public.

Summer yoga classes
The North County Recreation Center, 196 Hammonds Lane, will begin its eight-week summer sessions of yoga programs next week. The registration fee for each class is $75.
The flow yoga class is designed for those with a basic foundation in yoga and have had hands-on training at the beginner level. The class is offered at the center from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. on Thursdays beginning Thursday.
The gentle yoga class is for new students who want to ease their way into a yoga regimen. This class will be held from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning Tuesday or from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays beginning Thursday.
The yoga for beginner's class will introduce new students of yoga to meditation, body awareness and postures. It will be offered at the center from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning Tuesday.
"Yogalates" is a new class offered at the recreation center that combines basic yoga with Pilates. This class will meet from 8 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning Tuesday.
