Sophomore ace Kayla Martinez closed the regular season in style, throwing a no-hitter to lead Arundel to a 10-0 win over Southern.
Martinez walked two and only allowed three balls hit in play in five innings of work. She struck out 12, raising her season total to 140.
"She was on her game," said Arundel coach Alison Grava. "It seemed like every pitch she threw just worked."
Senior Sara Vann was 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, and sophomore Caitlin Palmieri drove in three runs for the Wildcats.

BROADNECK 12, ANNAPOLIS 2: Sophomore Ashley Thomas went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBIs and sophomore Kourtney Salvarola added four hits and two RBIs, as the second-ranked Bruins won at home.
Senior Megan Heins added a double and two RBIs for Broadneck, followed by senior Corie Seitler, who homered and drove in three runs. Thomas and sophomore Diana Naylor each had triples, and Thomas picked up the win on the mound with three innings of work.
Junior Virginia Finch had two hits to lead the Panthers. Senior Erin Delaney had a double and senior Brianna Davis had an RBI.
