What does the NCAA college basketball tournament mean to you?
---
This is basketball in its purest form. Much better competition than the pros.
I will watch as many games as I can even though the Terps ran out of gas down the stretch.
I am, for the first time in an office pool. Now I do have a dog in the fight. As long as Duke gets eliminated early, all is well. Go Georgetown!

The only thing that the NCAA basketball tournament means to me is that it will no doubt dominate the local television above national news.

To put it in a few easy words: other than Christmas Day, March Madness is the most exciting and exhilarating time of the year!
Since I'm a Towson grad, I've got to root for the Colonial Athletic Association. Go George Mason!

I'm not a fan of basketball, so I won't be scrambling to watch any games. The NCAA college basketball tournament doesn't mean anything to me, as I have no interest.
Gee, now that I've said that, I wonder if any of the fans will find me and throw rotten tomatoes at me. Nah, We all can't be a fan of everything, right?
Or can we? Excuse me, while I go hide.

With the Terps not going to the dance this year, my interest in it is low. I'll probably check in when it gets down to the Final Four.
The Terps were their own worst enemy this year, blowing big leads at the end of the season that would have carried them to the dance. I just hope one of the Atlantic Coast Conference teams makes it to the Final Four, with the Terps not in there I'm hopping someone from our conference wins it all.
In the meantime I can catch the Terps in the NIT on the second and third tier channels of ESPN.

Does basketball ever have a down season? NASCAR!
But I would like to see Mount Saint Mary's win big if they are still in it?

I think the NCAA college basketball tournament is the most exciting event in sports today. Most games are very competitive and come down to the last few seconds.
Once the tournament starts, anyone has a chance to win it. And since it's "one and done" every game is a must win.
As far as winning it all this year, I'm going to go with North Carolina. Even though Carolina was beaten at home by Maryland this year (I had to get that one in!), they still look like the overall best team.

I have watched every NCAA tour when the Terps are involved. When they aren't in the tournament, I dont watch it.
It just isn't the same not being able to root for them.
