The Cruisers Youth Swim Team will host a basket bingo at 2 p.m. on April 27 at the Country Club Estates Recreation Association hall, 1 Paul Marr Drive in the Country Club Estates development.
Doors open at 1 p.m.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door and will include 20 regular games of bingo and the chance to win door prizes. Cards for special games, raffle tickets and refreshments will be sold separately.
The game prizes will be filled Longaberger baskets. This might be the last chance to get some favorite baskets that were recently retired.

The deadline for joining the CCERA pool at discounted rates is March 31.
Family memberships and an additional fee are required for young people interested in joining the swim team.
The team is open to children, youths and teens, ranging from preschoolers just starting to swim and tall enough to have their heads above water in the shallow end to 18-year-olds who have just graduated from high school.
The team practices on weekday mornings and competes on Saturday mornings in June and July.

Challenger baseball
Young people ages 5 to 21 with developmental and physical disabilities will have the opportunity to learn sportsmanship and the basic skills and rules of baseball in an adaptive coed baseball program that will practice and play at Freetown Park.
The first practice will be on April 8.
The schedule: practices from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and practices and games from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
The cost of uniform shirts, hats and other expenses are included in the $50 registration fee.
Wheelchair athletes are welcome to participate.
Volunteers and families are encouraged to assist. Background checks will be required.

Game night
The North County Area library will host a game night for school-aged children and their families from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
A selection of board games, cards and snacks will be provided by the library.
Those attending are welcome to take their own favorite games to play, too.

Family fitness night
Marley Elementary School students and their families are invited to the school for a family fitness night that will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Children who attend must be accompanied by a responsible adult to the event and at each of the event's fitness activity stations.
Registration forms have been sent home with students. The completed forms should be returned by families who plan to attend to physical education teachers Amy Muller or Jamie Kahn.
