Brooklyn Park: 'Poof! You're Dead' heading to Studio 194 Theater

Do or Die Productions brings the interactive murder mystery, "Poof! You're Dead," to the Studio 194 Theater in the Chesapeake Arts Center at 194 Hammonds Lane for two shows on March 28 and 29. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m. both nights, and tickets are $14 for arts center members and $16 for nonmembers. The audience can participate as much or as little as they wish.

Arundel Gardens

The Arundel Gardens East Association will hold an open meeting at 7 p.m. today in the cafeteria at Brooklyn Park Middle School, 200 Hammonds Lane.

The Brooklyn Park Library Teen Anime Club will get together from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Anime animals and manga maniacs can get together and share their enthusiasm for this Asian art form.

Retirees' luncheon

The next meeting of the Coast Guard Yard Retirees Association will be held at The Olive Tree 7005 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie tomorrow. The luncheon will begin approximately 12:45 p.m. and will be followed by a short meeting.

All association members, spouses, surviving spouses and current Yard employees are invited to attend. Reservations are not required to attend this meeting.

Basket bingo

The music department of Brooklyn Park Middle School will hold a basket bingo fundraiser at the Roland Terrace Democratic Club, 619 Matthews Ave., on March 30. The doors will open at noon with the bingo games beginning at 1 p.m.

Bingo party packs are $18 and include two packs of 20 regular games of bingo. There also will be King Tut bingo, four specials, pull-tab games, two raffles and door prizes. Food and drinks also will be sold.

All proceeds will be used to fund a student trip in June.
