The Baltimore Washington Medical Center Auxiliary will sponsor its annual spring Easter bazaar from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the Dr. Constantine Padussis Conference Center, located on the third floor of the hospital, 301 Hospital Drive.
The sale will include homemade baked goods and crafts made by hospital personnel and auxiliary members.
Publicity Chairman Jean Gilligan encourages patrons to shop early since the items usually sell quickly.
The event is co-chaired by Yvonne Albrecht and Charlotte Westcott. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the hospital's building fund.

Shrimp feast
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 160 will sponsor a shrimp feast from 7 p.m. to midnight April 19 at the post hall, 2597 Dorsey Road.
Admission is $35. Proceeds will benefit cancer aid and research.
Food will be served from 7 to 10 p.m. Music will be played from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The menu includes steamed shrimp, fried shrimp, pit-roasted beef and ham, chicken, sausage, pork and sauerkraut, salads, vegetables, draft beer and soda. Patrons are not permitted to take their own beverages.

An Easter musical "Rise Again" will be presented at 7 p.m. Good Friday and at 11 a.m. Sunday at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1015 Sundown Road.
The cantata will take the audience from the beginning of Jesus' ministry through his miracles, his death and his resurrection.
Admission is free.
The church also will sponsor a free children's Easter party from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

The congregation of Ferndale United Methodist Church will gather at 6 p.m. tomorrow for a light soup supper in the church fellowship hall, 117 Ferndale Road.
The supper will be followed by a Communion service around the Cross at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
