Crowd estimates are always controversial. At Monday's Martin Luther King Breakfast, the chairman of the the event critized the Maryland Gazette for its crowd estimate at Friday's MLK Dinner in Glen Burnie.
Carl O. Snowden said the story that appeared Saturday in both the Maryland Gazette and The Capital underestimated the size of the crowd. We reported it was "several hundred" while Snowden said it was more like 1,000.
